Sayyar Legal LLC

Operated as a civil legal practice in Las Vegas, Nevada from January 2014 to January 2017, Sayyar Legal LLC is the law practice of Homa Sayyar. In January of 2017, Homa started with the Nevada Aging and Disability Services Division as the Attorney for the Rights of Older Persons and Persons With a Physical Disability, Intellectual Disability or a Related Condition and stopped taking private clients through Woodrum Law LLC. In August of 2019, she transferred to a role with the Nevada Office of the Attorney General. She served as a Senior Deputy Attorney General representing the Division of Health Care Financing and Policy in the Health and Human Services Division and later served in the Boards and Open Government Division. In September of 2023 she began a role as General Counsel for Nevada State Purchasing in the Department of Administration.

In May of 2025 Homa assumed the role of Deputy Director at the Nevada Department of Indigent Defense Services where she currently works with her colleagues to support statewide efforts to provide quality counsel for indigent defendants in the state.
